When I look through the viewfinder of my camera, the world is turning into a movie. Light starts to illuminate objects, people become characters, mundane interactions convey a story. Where others might pass by, I will wait and let the scene unfold. And when the moment is right, I click the shutter. That’s my Movie Still.
This zine contains 107 photographs, taken in California, Berlin and Japan in 2024. All were shot on Kodak Vision 35mm film by Moritz Karst.
